A lot of my creative output is a direct result of trying to annoy my wife Cassie; today’s post is no exception. I came up with this song in the car on a long, long road trip in 2005. When I came home, friend Jeff Gilbert came up with some chords for the verse and put down a piano track and we rolled this baby out in an afternoon. The song is called “Might Have Been a Monday.”
It is extremely annoying. But also—just perhaps—frighteningly good.
